Following a successful pitch, 438 Marketing were recently presented with an extraordinary opportunity to work with one of London’s most prestigious and private members’ clubs, The Magic Circle. With one of our own (Andy Brennan) already a member at the club, the project presented a personal aspect along with the prospect to improve and enhance a client’s brand.
Being tasked with giving The Magic Circle’s website and members’ area a complete refresh gave the design team a chance to show off their impressive skills. The project was managed end-to-end and included the following; a redesign of the website and member’s area, a redesign of the logo and new systems put in place to allow for easier navigation and site structure. In turn, this process helped us to achieve the client’s main goals of setting up an online renewals process, achieving higher ticket sales, increased venue hire and a streamlined joining process.
Since its founding in 1905 The Magic Circle has been a premier venue for magicians to come and share all their tricks and secrets. Due to such a rich heritage, the project needed a sensitive approach and one that would fit the client’s and members’ needs whilst adding value to an already well established brand. For this reason the team swatted up on their knowledge of the club and even attended an evening at The Magic Circle to soak up the atmosphere of a club steeped in history.
