I came across this on Ad Week today… QR codes made from lemons and avocados. How about that?
Taco Bell have launched a new Cantina Bell menu featuring gourmet dishes in partnership with US chef, Lorena Garcia. Part of the Cantina Bell launch saw the creative QR codes created by Draftfcb Orange County in People and US Weekly magazines.
They’re not just for show, the codes link through to information about dishes featured on the new menu and scan just as easily as standard QR codes. Even though there are few people who can praise the use of QR codes in advertising, Taco Bell and Draftfcb made this their own, and I’m sure a lot of others like me have scanned / will scan it just to see if it works!
