The change

We were proud to support Knutsford’s first-ever Pride, a vibrant, community-led celebration timed to coincide with Manchester Pride. Organised by local business Dexter and Jones, the event brought the town together for a day of live music, street food, family activities, and support for The Proud Trust.

We created a joyful brand identity designed to grow with the event.

The strapline: “Small town, big pride” perfectly reflects the energy, ambition, and sense of togetherness that defined Knutsford’s inaugural Pride.

438’s role was to create a visual identity that captured the inclusive, celebratory spirit of the day. It needed to feel bold and welcoming, but with a distinctly local character that would resonate with families and individuals, while honouring the deeper values behind the event.

I can’t even begin to explain how impressed I am with 438 Marketing. We went to the team with, in truth, little to no actual ideas other than that we wanted it to be amazing. They came up with a multi-platform campaign that… well, I’d like to say fitted the bill, but in truth it took the bill and sent it into orbit! We were genuinely impressed by the talent and creativity in the concept, as well as the attention to detail that made it effective across all platforms. We will never use anyone else again!
