The change

This is more than just fantasy. To support the launch of Isuzu’s first all-electric pick-up, we teamed up with Amazon MGM Studios and Mattel Studios for the exciting live-action film release of Masters of the Universe.

The cinematic partnership mirrored our ‘Power-full’ campaign line, focusing on the synergies between the fully electric, fully capable Isuzu D-Max EV and other-worldly powers of the iconic characters.

He-Man-themed marketing ran across Isuzu’s platforms, including digital outdoor, email, CTV, social media and dealership promotions. There was also a social media competition to win a holiday to Iceland, along with film merchandise goodie bags.

With messages like ‘We have the power’, ‘By the power of Isuzu’ and ‘Discover true power’, this electrifying campaign was full of nostalgia for fans, as well as attracting a whole new audience.
